She maintains a professional wellness consultancy and advisory practice and is currently a member of the board of directors for the Healthy America Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the health and wellness of American families.

Yolanda was honored at the Los Angeles Business Journal’s  seventeenth annual Women Who Make A Difference Awards Reception in 2008.
