Greetings all, I recently got a running bug, not a bug like the Swine Flu, but a contagiously Healthy Bug that is driving me to want to run and run and run. Now, I’m not a great runner, but I plan on running 5k’s, 10k’s, 15k’s and more to steadily improve my runs, working my way up to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon in 2010. Now, because I know running is cool on your own, but better with a group, I have created The Sirius Fitness Run Club! This is a run club consisting of individuals of all levels who want the camaraderie of folks who want to run for fun, fitness or fulfillment of their own personal goals. We are here to assist, encourage, impart knowledge and have fun running together…and of course using this as a means to stay and/or become fit!

On Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 7:30 pm we will have a meeting to introduce members, create a running schedule of events and brainstorm on the direction of our group. This event will take place at The Upaka Center at 6875 El Cajon Blvd. (Between Bank of America and The Salvation Army Thrift Store)
