Join the fight to end breast cancer

// October 19th, 2009 // No Comments » // Uncategorized

*Sep 14 - 00:05*

Greetings All,

As the world’s leading breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is committed to ending breast cancer forever.  On Sunday, November 1, I will join thousands of others walking in the 14th annual Komen San Diego Race for the Cure®.  By making a donation on my behalf, you are helping uninsured women right here in San Diego County get access to local breast cancer screening, diagnostics, treatment and support.  In fact, 75 percent of every dollar raised stays  here in San Diego.  The remaining 25 percent goes to Komen for the Cure Headquarters to fund groundbreaking national research.

It’s very likely you know someone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Whether you or your spouse, a relative, coworker, neighbor or friend, chances are someone in your life’s circle has heard those dreaded words – “You have breast cancer.”

A diagnosis of breast cancer affects more than just the patient.  When someone we love is diagnosed, we all are affected.  Families work doubly hard to keep homes running smoothly while the patient travels the breast cancer treatment journey.  Businesses struggle, not only to support the worker, but also to fill gaps in productivity.

You see, breast cancer doesn’t care – so we have to care!

My goal is to raise $500.00 this year.  Please help me reach that goal with your financial support.  Online donations are simple, and the site is secure.  Please go to my fundraising page and make a tax-deductible donation online at http://sandiego.info-komen.org/goto/Nasara
If you prefer, you can mail your donation  to the Komen San Diego Race for the Cure at 6116 Innovation Way, Carlsbad, CA, 92009.
Please make your check payable to: Susan G. Komen for the Cure and add my name in the memo.
The deadline to have my donations collected is  Friday, January 8, 2010.

Thank you in advance for your support.  Please contact me if you have any questions about the Komen Race for the Cure®.  I can be reached at siriusfitness@gmail.com23500009_125x125.

Sincerely,

Nasara Gargonnu

P.S. I would ask you to consider making an investment of $125 towards the fight for a world without breast cancer. $125 is the average cost of a life-saving mammogram here in San Diego.
